Ke Ping read law in the University of Reading and completed her LLB (Hons.) with a Second Class Upper degree in year 2009. Thereafter, she was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2010 and in 2011, she was admitted as an advocate & solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She commenced practice with Messrs Rahmat Lim & Partners where she gained invaluable insight into the practice of corporate real estate before setting up Messrs KP Lu & Tan with Mr Tan Ch’eng Leong in 2016.

Currently, Ke Ping heads the corporate & commercial and real estate practice arm of the Firm. Ke Ping has acted for high net-worth individuals, developers, landlords, tenants and investors. Her work in the real estate sector relates to high value, complex facilities across a wide-range of asset classes including industrial warehouses and lands, hotels and mixed-use office and commercial properties. Ke Ping also advises entrepreneurs, investors and established businesses across a variety of sectors on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, and she has a great deal of experience in dealing with commercial acquisitions and sales.

Ke Ping is known for her efficient and pragmatic advice and her calm and reassuring approach. She prides herself in gaining a rapid understanding of her clients’ objectives before providing them with accurate solutions. Over the years, Ke Ping has also developed a particular interest in the topic of ESG, in particular its economic impact on transactional matters and she relentlessly participates in promoting and educating society and corporations on ESG implementation and its importance.
